Ceramic is a kind of material with excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The ceramic pump is based on this performance. The pump body and pump cover are made of acid-resistant ceramics. Ceramic pumps for chemical industry are generally centrifugal pumps, and their impellers, volutes, shaft seal chambers, and suction and discharge nozzles are all made of ceramics. At present, alumina ceramics are mainly used. It is suitable for transporting strong corrosive liquids such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, etc. It cannot transport fluorine-containing materials and concentrated lye. The flow rate of the ceramic pump can reach 400m3/h; the head can reach 50m; the operating temperature is -15"100°C; the sudden change temperature value is ≤50°C. Ceramic pumps are often protected by "armor" made of cast iron.
